Branch's Story

 

August 27, 1975 - June 8, 1992 Branch was my first Champion and was from my first litter (co-bred with Dee Strahan). He finished all three obedience titles (CD, CDX, UD) in less than 9 months, before he was two, which qualified him for a Dog World Award. He also earned Dog World Awards for his CD and CDX. He started his career in the breed ring with a Best of Breed over 3 specials, two of which had previously gone Best in Show. He always carried a glorious coat and had a magnificent shoulder/front assembly, which he passed on. Branch almost made it to his 17th birthday. He was absolutely devoted to me and I to him. Though he has been gone many years now, I still miss him. Petal and Beacon both go back to him.
