Beacon is a moderate 14 3/4" dog with a wonderful personality that he passed on to his puppies. As a young dog he was affectionately known as "Monkey Boy" due to his tendency to bounce face high, as well as from one piece of furniture to the next. He became sterile at an early age so was neutered and I was never able to get any offspring of my own from him. This was a big disappointment since he is the last of my original line.
Beacon has a lovely outline, nice head with correct planes and very sound body but was not much of a "showman" so was seldom shown in the breed ring. Beacon earned a CDX title in Obedience and was almost completely trained in Utility but due to time constraints from my job, his career was put on hold. Now at the age of 11 he has earned the right to just be my beloved companion.
